Ashley Scroggs, PLA
Principal
Ashley began her tenure with Coleman & Associates as an intern in 2014, eventually working for the firm full-time and assuming the role of principal in 2021. She oversees a variety of project types, ensuring their successful execution from design conception to completion. Recently she has had the opportunity to work on the Texas Capitol Complex Mall, which she calls a once-in-a-career project. Ashley says, “Working on a project that is going to transform a Texas landmark and the city of Austin so significantly is very exciting, and I can’t wait to see how people interact with the space. These kinds of projects don’t come along all the time, so I am embracing my opportunity.” She loves many aspects of landscape architecture but is especially moved by the way good design can improve people’s everyday lives.
Outside of work, Ashley loves traveling with her husband Scott and ensuring that their two cats live their absolute best lives. Germany and Scotland are favorite places to visit when abroad, and Enchanted Rock and Fredericksburg top the list of places closer to home.
Ashley is originally from Cypress, Texas and holds a bachelors in Landscape Architecture with minors in Horticulture and Urban Design from Texas A&M.
