Daniel Gonzalez is spending the summer as a landscape architecture intern at Coleman & Associates, bringing a thoughtful, community-centered perspective shaped by his background in architecture and his passion for the outdoors. Originally from Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico, he earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad Veracruzana and is currently pursuing a Master of Landscape Architecture at Texas A&M University. Daniel enjoys working on parks and other public spaces that encourage people to gather, connect, and experience nature together. He believes great landscapes strengthen communities while creating lasting connections between people and the environment.
Away from work, you'll likely find him hiking, exploring Austin on foot, or searching for his next favorite restaurant. His favorite local escapes include Pease Park and Lady Bird Lake Trail, and whenever he can, he heads back to Veracruz to spend time with family and friends.
