Austin Energy Headquarters is a new build, modern office building in the heart of the explosive Mueller Development located in Central Austin. In addition to the spacious, landscaped courtyard, complete with a boccé court, there's ample seating and varied outdoor places to relax or have an informal meeting. Concrete striping weaves it's way throughout the green space, brimming with gorgeous flowers and pops of bright color.
The building received Five Stars in the Austin Energy Green Building program and LEED-Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Among its sustainability features are a series of 400kw photovoltaic solar arrays incorporated into the building’s roofline, 64 electric vehicle stations, the use of reclaimed and chilled water and enclosed offices located at the center of the building to allow for more natural light.
